Itinerary

Day 01

• At 14:30hrs, pick-up from the city hotel (TBA) and transfer 45 minutes by van to Santubong Jetty.  Proceed by speedboat to cruise along Buntal Santubong River to study the Mangrove Forest with its rich flora and fauna.  At the mouth of the Santubong River, look-out for the Irrawaddy Dolphin (rare & unusual mammals) which are quite.   Continue by speedboat to the Salak River passing by Salak Fishing Village, then to Kuching Wetland to look for the Proboscis Monkeys before heading toward the South China Sea to Satang Island.  Check-in at the Park Hut with very basis accommodation (Mattress, bed sheets, blankets, pillow) and common toilet facilities.   Depending on the tide, clients might be able to swim or snorkelling in the sea.   After dinner, briefing by the Park guide and to waiting for the turtles to come ashore to lay their eggs.  Visitors will be adviced to wait patiently for the Park guide to show the visitors the appropriate site to witness the turtles lay their eggs which will be collected the transferred to the Nursery.   Visitors might have the privilege to watch newly hatched baby turtle being released into the sea.  Be prepared for a late night and overnight at the Park Hut.  (D)

Day 02

• After breakfast, visitors are allow to have a swim or snorkelling before returning by speedboat to Santubong Jetty.  Return by van to
  Kuching and transfer to the hotel (TBA). (B)
