Itinerary

Day 01

• Morning, depart from Kuching by van / coach to Annah Rais Longhouse which is about 75km from Kuching. The journey passes through scenic countryside of rice fields, rubber, coco and pepper plantation which intermingles with luxuriant tropical forest, rivers and mountain ranges.  Upon arrival at the longhouse, meet your host with a welcome drink (tuak), follow-by a short briefing and tour of the longhouse.
• In the evening, you will be invited to participate in playing their traditional musical instruments or learn more about their traditional dances before returning for the night.    (LD)

Day 02

• Breakfast with the family.
• Trek through the tropical rainforest to learn more about the natural resources before reaching a small stream for a nice dip in the crystal clear running water.
• The local guide, porters will start building the bamboo raft, you are most welcome to learn and help to build the raft follow by a native style picnic-lunch.
• Embark on the exciting rafting along the stream through lush tropical rainforest and along the way, enjoy the natural beauty of the jungle.  It is also possible to do Spear-fishing before the ending of the rafting.   You will then use a different trail to go back to the longhouse.
• Tour the longhouse and surrounding before saying goodbye to everybody, depart by van / coach to Kuching and transfer to hotel.   (B)
